Objective
Earn Source by exploring, killing enemies, and defeating other players. Spend Source to build defenses, level up stats, and bank your wealth. The player who earns the most Source each day becomes the Daily Champion and gets to add a new rule to the game.

Day / Night Cycle
The world cycles through four phases on a 30-minute loop: Dawn (5 min, both enemies), Day (10 min, lions), Dusk (5 min, both enemies), Night (10 min, ghosts). Dawn and dusk are the most dangerous — but kills during transitions earn bonus Source.

Lion(Day & + 2 Bonus Source During Dawn)Melee charger. Lions ramp up speed the longer they chase you, and prolonged chases attract reinforcements. They pounce from range, then swipe up close. After attacking they briefly crouch — your window to counterattack. Weak to ranged attacks. They will also attack your buildings to reach turrets that shoot at them.

Ghost(Night & + 2 Bonus Source During Dusk)Ranged kiter. Ghosts keep their distance and fire slow homing projectiles. They strafe to dodge and periodically burst-fire two rapid shots. While wandering, ghosts phase out and become intangible. Parried ghost projectiles home onto nearby enemies. Weak to melee — close the gap fast.

Scorched Stag(World Boss)Fire-breathing stag with 300 HP. Breathes fire, charges at players, and deals heavy melee damage. Drops 300 Source on kill (split proportionally among the players who damaged it based on damage done). HP persists across server restarts and resets weekly. Coordinate with other players to take it down.
Buildings

Wall(10 Source)Solid barrier. Blocks all movement and projectiles. The backbone of any base. Walls are the only building that slowly regenerates HP.

Gate(15 Source)Passable door. You and whitelisted players walk through; enemies and other players are blocked. Ctrl+click to manage the whitelist. Lower HP than walls.

Turret(80 Source)Auto-targeting cannon. Fires explosive projectiles at nearby enemies and non-whitelisted players. Shots explode on impact with AOE damage. Enemies that get shot by turrets will aggro and attack them. Ctrl+click to manage whitelist. Colored with your shirt and pants colors.

Bed(20 Source)Healing station & respawn point. Heals you and your party members when nearby. You respawn at your bed instead of the safe zone. One bed per player. Colored with your shirt and pants colors.
Key Locations

Safe ZoneThe green circle at the center of the map. No combat or building allowed. You move faster inside and slowly heal. Enemies that touch it are destroyed.

Buffer ZoneThe yellow ring surrounding the safe zone. Combat is allowed here, but building is not. This ensures players can always fight their way to safety without being walled off.

The BankerDeposit Source for safekeeping — banked Source is protected when you die. 10% withdrawal fee, minimum withdrawal of 10 Source.

Team UpCtrl+click another player to invite them. Party members appear blue on the minimap, their beds heal you, and you share Source: the earner keeps 40%, the rest is split evenly. Up to 10 players per party.
The Rule System

Daily ChampionOnce per day in the evening (PST), the player with the most total Source earned is crowned champion. The champion loses all their source upon rule adoption, but can adopt the community's top suggestion from the Scribe which allows them to keep their stat changes. Rules are implemented by AI and last until the weekly reset.

Upgrades(100 Source per level, max 25)Spend Source to level up: Move Speed, Melee Knockback, Melee Range, Projectile Speed, Projectile Range, Lunge AOE, Lunge Distance, Shield Duration, Dash Distance. Stat upgrades are lost if you are selected as the champion unless you choose to implement the top community rule.
